FORWARD’s Young Women’s Advisory Council was setup to help FORWARD integrate the voices and perspectives of young women into its work. It also aims to:
- Improve Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) young women’s knowledge of and engagement with local and international VAWG issues
- Improve BAME young women’s skills for advocating and campaigning against violence against women and girls (VAWG)
- Increase our young women’s hub members’ confidence in sharing VAWG-related issues with their personal networks
