FORWARD on Tour with Skunk Anasie

In October, FORWARD was invited by Skin of Skunk Anansie, to attend her UK tour, to promote awareness ofFemale Genital Mutilation (FGM).

It was a unique opportunity to reach out to a young audience and invite them to find out more about what FORWARD does. At each concert venue throughout the UK, FORWARD set up a stall in the entrance and gave out leaflets to Skunk fans.

We’ve had a good response from the concerts and many have got in contact with us for more information or to make donations. We look forward to future work with Skunk Anansie.
