FORWARD and Author Gavin Weston on Child Marriage

FORWARD is very excited to be collaborating with the amazingly talented visual artist/writer [Gavin Weston](http://www.gavinwestonbooks.com/) on his recently launched book – Harmattan. The beautifully written book is set in Niger and highlights the harsh life of a child bride. FORWARD has been working with Gavin since 2011 and as a FORWARD Ambassador Gavin is using the novel to raise much needed awareness of the issue of child marriage which is estimated to affect 10 million girls worldwide per year. Child marriage is one of FORWARD’s main areas of work so we are very happy to be associated with Gavin and Harmattan and we will be launching the book in London later in the year.
