Training Details
Aim: To increase knowledge, awareness and understanding for professionals on the practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). This will help strengthen competency and skills and enable multiagency cooperation in relation to safeguarding, mandatory reporting and support services for those at risk and or are affected.
Duration: 1 full day
Who should attend? The training is aimed at GPs, midwives, nurses, social workers, teachers and key staff at any agency involved in treating and supporting women and girls affected by FGM.
