Silent No More- Life drawing and discussion in celebration of Audre Lorde

This month’s FORWARD's Women’s Hub event invites you to an evening celebrating the work of Audre Lorde, discussing excerpts of her work through the medium of life drawing.

A self-described “black, lesbian, mother, warrior, poet,” Audre Lorde’s work spoke directly to the hearts of women globally. Questioning issues of race, gender, sexuality, identity, love and political injustice; Lorde created a unique literary space for personal exploration.

This month’s FORWARD's Women’s Hub event invites you to an evening celebrating the work of Audre Lorde, discussing excerpts of her work through the medium of life drawing. Don’t worry if you don’t consider yourself a visual artist! Come along for great discussion and sisterhood over a cup of tea at Yumchaa Soho.

This will be a timely opportunity during Black History Month to reflect on key themes in Lorde’s writing to debate, discuss and empower one another.

The event is open to BAME women aged 18-30.
