A winter party to launch FORWARD’s Young Women's Hub - a moment to celebrate womanhood! Featuring hip hop due Poetic Pilgrimage, Sharna Cane and DJ Akudo.
An evening of empowering spoken word, interwoven with live music sets from hip hop duo Poetic Pilgrimage and Sharna Cane. A chance to network, feast, and celebrate women and girls. Turn up in your bold colours!
The event will give you an opportunity to network with other women, find out about the work of FORWARD, and indulge in a bit of self-care with our Afro-canapés, henna stall, and headwrap demos. Tickets will include a raffle draw with the chance to win some fabulous prizes including a signed copy of JJ Bola’s No Place to Call Home. The evening will end with a live DJ set from DJ Akudo.
