To mark International Women's Day FORWARD UK's Musicians Unite to End FGM project in collaboration with Black HistoryStudies is pleased to present The Power of Music: Artists Using Conversation and Music for Social Change. 

Journalist and FORWARD Ambassador, Ade Daramy will be in conversation with Blues artist Corey Harris (Corey Harris Band), Congolese hip hop artists Nka1 and Tunde (of  Lopango Ya Banka) and UK female rapper extraordinaire - Sharna Cane.

Join us as we explore the power of music to spread awareness of issues such as female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage, how it can influence decision makers (elders in communities that practice FGM, governments etc.), inspire generations and create positive social change.
